TYPO3
Raccoon Depot built a custom TYPO3 website that showcases the client's growing real estate portfolio and lets visitors reserve an apartment online through live CRM synchronization.
The Client
Moya Kraina is a well-established real estate developer in Lviv, Ukraine. The company builds business-class apartment complexes, premium cottages and townhouses, and Class A office buildings. To date, it has delivered more than 100,000 m² of residential and commercial space.
As the company’s portfolio grew, its existing website — outdated and long overdue for maintenance — could no longer keep up. Adding new projects, presenting each development in a way that supported the sales process, and extending the site with new functionality became increasingly difficult.
It was clear that a visual refresh alone wouldn't fix all the issues, so the company decided to develop a new website from the ground up.
The Challenge
Moya Kraina had outgrown its existing website, which couldn’t effectively support sales or scale with the business.
Poor SEO performance
The old website had been compromised with spam links, which hurt its search rankings. The company brought in an SEO team to clean up the issue, but it exposed a broader problem: the website was outdated and no longer supported the company's business goals.
Limiting website structure
On the old website, project information was limited and difficult to expand, which became a real challenge as Moya Kraina prepared to launch Natsionalnyi, its largest development yet. They needed a scalable structure that would allow them to present all project details in an organized, user-friendly way.
Growing content needs
Moya Kraina expected to keep launching new developments well beyond Natsionalnyi. So, they wanted a website with a simple admin panel — one their own team could use to add and manage future projects without rebuilding pages from scratch or relying on developers for every update.
No CRM synchronization
For the Natsionalnyi project, the client wanted prospective buyers to browse available apartments online and reserve them directly through the website. This required live synchronization with the company's CRM system — something the old website couldn't support.
Cooperation
Moya Krayina was looking for a technical partner who could recommend the right solution rather than simply execute a brief. They came to Raccoon Depot through a referral, which established the trust that shaped the entire collaboration:
- Development team. The project team consisted of a project manager, technical lead, UI/UX designer, front-end developer, and QA engineer.
- Scope of work. Raccoon Depot handled website development end-to-end. The team started with a brief discovery phase to understand how prospective buyers searched for properties and how the client's sales process worked. These insights laid the foundation for the website structure, design, and development.
- Roles & responsibilities. An operations manager coordinated the project on the client's side, gathering feedback and aligning stakeholders. Technical decisions, including the choice of a tech stack, were owned by Raccoon Depot.
- Communication. The teams met approximately every two weeks and stayed in touch via email between meetings.
Eventually, the project evolved into a long-term partnership. Raccoon Depot still supports the website today, years after its launch.
Solution
We delivered a custom TYPO3 website that became an integral part of the sales process for Natsionalnyi while providing a scalable foundation for Moya Kraina's growing portfolio.
Scalable website structure
The new website supports Moya Kraina's full portfolio, including the Natsionalnyi project with all its complexity — construction phases, floor plans, unit-level details, and more. The structure is also growth-ready, with new projects fitting naturally into it.
Simple content management
Given the client's need to regularly add new developments to the website, we recommended TYPO3 as the CMS. Its block-based editor works like Lego, allowing the team to create new pages and update content easily, using reusable components.
Online apartment reservations
We connected the website to the client's CRM, so buyers could reserve available units in the Natsionalnyi complex online. The sync works both ways: reservations made on the site flow into the CRM, and status updates made in the CRM show up on the site.
Traditional-style UI design
Moya Kraina wanted the website to reflect its identity as a trustworthy, proudly Ukrainian developer. Our designer translated that vision into the UI by incorporating elements of Petrykivka, a traditional Ukrainian folk painting style.
VR integration
Moya Kraina had a VR solution for the Natsionalnyi project, available at its sales office. We integrated it into the new website, so anyone with a VR headset can explore the future development remotely, without visiting in person.
Automated CRM integration checks
To simplify ongoing maintenance, we built an automated monitoring tool that continuously checks the CRM integration. If it fails, for example, after the client changes a CRM password, the team is alerted right away and can quickly restore the connection.
The Result
The website launched in early 2019, but its impact and our partnership continue to this day.
Website-driven buyer inquiries
The Natsionalnyi project generated a strong volume of inquiries through the website, with prospective buyers actively submitting reservation requests online.
A lead-generation platform
With Natsionalnyi now largely sold out, the website hasn't gone stale. Moya Kraina now uses it alongside paid advertising to generate leads for new developments.
Ongoing technical stewardship
Our team continues to manage hosting and domain renewals, reminding the client about upcoming payments to help prevent website downtime.
Long-term partnership
Raccoon Depot remains Moya Krayina's long-term partner for all website-related matters, retaining full technical knowledge and ready to step in whenever needed.
