The client
Our client is the world market leader in compaction technology and manufactures soil, asphalt, and refuse compaction equipment, as well as stabilizers and recyclers. Also, they sell asphalt pavers and cold planers. Additionally, the client offers specialized solutions for landfill sites of all sizes, recycling damaged asphalt pavement, and soil stabilization.
The website features hundreds of products with numerous related options, supports 24 markets and languages, and serves over 1,500 active dealer accounts across 100+ user groups. This structure enables our client to restrict content access and provide tailored information to specific target audiences.

Our Solution
Extranet
We developed a unique Extranet system from scratch, serving as a restricted area on the website that allows BOMAG to securely share information with their dealers. The user management process is centralized and integrated with an external service seamlessly connected to the CMS. News, events, and various other data are delivered to over 100 dealer user groups based on the target audience. More than 20 unique content elements are prepared for Extranet area.
PIM Integration
We’ve consistently maintained and improved the integration with the PIM (Product Information Management) system, where the client manages their product data. Images, PDF specifications, as well as, other files are stored separately in the DAM system but integrate seamlessly with the CMS. Thanks to this setup, any updates made in the PIM or DAM systems are automatically reflected in the CMS in real-time. Such setup ensures that any updates made in the PIM or DAM systems are instantly reflected in the CMS, reducing maintenance costs for the client and greatly lowering the risk of data inconsistencies or update delays.
Continuous Development and Maintenance
More than 2,500 tasks of varying complexity have been successfully and professionally completed since the beginning of our cooperation. Detailed documentation was prepared for each development phase to support ongoing and future enhancements, making it easier to onboard new developers. Every critical aspect of the architecture is visualized through UML diagrams and graphs, providing a clear understanding of the extensive functionality.
